York itself offers an eclectic mix of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, the famous Minster and quirky cobbled streets leading to many historical monuments and excellent shopping. The cottage is also perfect for venturing further afield towards the Yorkshire coast, the Dales, visiting lovely market towns or walking the North York Moors.  There are a huge choice of attractions close by, ranging from National Trust properties such as the Treasurer’s House and Beningbrough Hall to fun-filled family days out in Go Ape in Dalby Forest, beautiful Castle Howard and the York Maze.

Venturing through the prettiest entrance into the cosy lounge you'll find a woodburner and lovely chesterfield sofa to relax and plan your adventures, play board games or watch a film on the smart TV. Heading through to the open-plan kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave where you can cook a meal together and to enjoy round the dining table. There is a utility room just off the kitchen with a washing machine. Heading up the cottages steep stairs you will find two double bedrooms one with French inspired Louis XV solid wood bed and an impressive four-poster in the other. Both rooms have co-ordinated furniture and storage to reflect this quaint French era. Quality mattresses and bed linen offer a comfortable night’s sleep.
