For us White Acres is positioned at the end of a long, private and quiet canalside driveway. The property is very roomy with a vaulted ceilings in all rooms. We enjoyed all the small details like plastic containers, a variety of bowls for eating and serving from. The well equipped kitchen was a real boom. The restoration of this property is in keepRead moreing with a countryside location. The location is strategic to visit Lincoln within 12 minutes. A short drive to the local pubs is worth the visit. Just spent 3 nights in this delightful cottage. Very well equipped and clean. Had everything we needed. Super secure garden for our two dogs. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Just under a mile walk to two pubs - we preferred the Anglers but they do not do food and were very busy. What lovely people there are in Saxilby! We loved our stay at the cottage, the road down was a bit rough in places, but this is nothing to do with the lovely friendly people who rented it to us. Very dog friendly, even a doggie shower, was a great location for visiting Lincoln, half hourly buses straight to the city. Local pub, fish and chip shop and other local amenities included a co-opRead more, spar, and a chemist. Good break Hide
