Property description
This delectable little pied-a-terre stands alone at the centre of a large private wildlife meadow, screened by mature trees from the owners’ Grade II listed home, and bordering that quintessential feature of rural England, the village cricket ground.
Named after its original purpose, The Pump House lies just a few minutes’ stroll away across fields, or by road, from the local pub. You are welcome to explore the owners’ beautiful gardens and use the tennis court.
Location
A short drive from the village of North Perrott.
Accommodation
This is the perfect couples’ retreat, and it’s beautifully finished inside. Wide doors open into a light, open-plan living room, which has a sandstone floor, a welcoming wood burner and black leather furnishings. Next to the oak dining table, the kitchen area is fitted with cream, gloss fronted units and stainless steel appliances. French doors lead from here to the sunny south-facing patio. A brushed-steel spiral staircase leads up to the bathroom and a pretty double bedroom, which is oak-floored and galleried.
Facilities
The Pump House is perfectly equipped for a holiday for two. Facilities include an electric cooker, a microwave, fridge, washing machine/dryer and a dishwasher. The bathroom has a fitted shower. Entertainment includes a digital TV and a DVD and CD players.
The price is inclusive of all electricity and heating, and towels are included. The first basket of logs for the wood burner is free; thereafter you can purchase them locally.
Outside, there is patio furniture, a barbecue and parking space for two cars.
Sorry, no smoking. One dog welcome.
