Property description
A contemporary, two-storey house on the waterfront in the village of Little Petherick. It overlooks the creek which leads into the Camel Estuary and has lovely views over the water.
The house has a private decking area overlooking the water, perfect for all fresco meals while you watch the river wildlife.
Just two miles from Padstow, this holiday retreat is well positioned to take advance of everything North Cornwall has to offer, from the restaurants, galleries and shops of Padstow itself to the countless stunning beaches within a short drive. The Saints Way, a famous walking trail that runs between the north and south coasts of Cornwall, passes right outside the door, offering great opportunities to explore the countryside.
Location
Little Petherick is a classic, peaceful Cornish riverside village, with easy access to nearby Wadebridge and Padstow. There are a few good restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The house has been designed to make the very best of its waterfront position.
Accommodation
Inside, the house is light, white and bright, in keeping with the ‘beach retreat’ ethos of its owners.
A ground floor entrance hall leads to a kitchen area with contemporary maple units, a built-in electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and washer/dryer.
The open plan living area has laminate/ceramic flooring, an armchair and double sofa, a TV with Freeview, and a DVD and CD player. French doors lead to the large decked terrace with a small covered verandah area. There’s also a dining area seating four. A feature open tread spiral staircase leading up from the living area may be difficult for the less able.
The first floor double bedroom has a modern steel double bed, and French doors leading to a small balcony overlooking the river. The ensuite bathroom has a bath with shower, loo, basin and heated towel rail. In addition there is a small single bedroom downstairs which also has an ensuite bathroom, giving two guests the luxury of their own bathrooms if required.
Facilities
There is parking for one car adjacent to the house.
One dog is welcome in low season only.
