Property description
Well Farm consists of three detached barn conversions, Home, Pippins and Plough Cottages, adjacent to each other enjoying wonderful views across a valley towards Painswick. The hillside setting is a haven for ramblers with a good choice of walks from the front door. Well Farm is no longer a working farm but there are usually pigs and cows in the fields opposite as well as an abundance of wildlife and particularly song birds and game birds. The Cotswold Way long distance footpath is close by.
Location
In a quiet hamlet, one mile outside Painswick, a beautiful village often described as 'the Queen of the Cotswolds'. A good choice of local shops, pubs and restaurants, and an ideal base for exploring the central and southern Cotswolds. The nearest big town with supermarkets is Stroud, 4 miles away. A car is essential here.

Accommodation
The cottages sleep two, are detached and generate a warm, cosy atmosphere.
Plough Cottage is spread over two floors. The joys of this sweet little house are a wood burning stove to snuggle up in front of in the sitting/dining and kitchen area, and the doors that open from the first floor double bedroom onto a private deck. Great views over the valley to Painswick!
Pretty little Home Cottage was originally an outbuilding next to the farmhouse. It has a ground floor double bedroom with a four poster king size bed and an ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and overhead shower. The living area is typical of the area, decorated with Cotswold stone and wooden beams. Spiral stairs lead up to a gallery with stunning views.
Pippins used to house the farm's Cider Mill. Today it's a delightful, two-storey cottage. Like the other two, its ground floor is open plan, it has a wood burner, a beamed living area, occasional antiques and plenty of entertainment and kitchen gadgets.
