Caron Cooper’s quintessential Cotswold stone farmhouse has featured in many interiors magazines and in her own BBC cookery series. The Dovecote stands in the grounds of the farmhouse, a delightful, first floor, self-catering studio flat for two. Reached via an external staircase, this is a sweet, very lovingly decorated apartment, with a vaulted ceiling, oak floors and designer lighting effects. It is charming, romantic and, perhaps best of all, has the Cotswolds on its doorstep.
Location
In an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by farmland and within walking distance of Castle Combe (arguably the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds). 20 minutes from Bath, 40 minutes from Longleat safari park. 1hr 45 mins’ drive from London. Badminton Horse Trials one mile.

Accommodation
The apartment consists of an entrance lobby, a spacious open plan studio with a fully fitted kitchen, a living/dining area with table and chairs, and a sleeping area with a double bed and fitted wardrobes.
A separate bathroom has a bath, shower, basin, WC and washing machine. There's a tumble drier in a separate building.
A Juliet balcony looks out over gardens and the countryside beyond. There are communal gardens, shared with Fosse farmhouse, which has a barbecue and a set of boules.
Facilities
The kitchen has granite worktops, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob and microwave. For cosy nights in there's a 32” LCD TV, a DVD player, CD player and digital radio. Twinkling star lights in the ceiling create a truly romantic atmosphere.
The apartment is centrally heated throughout.

The Dovecote is 20 minutes from Bath, where you'll find the best shops outside London, the Bath Thermal Spa and the wonderful Theatre Royal, as well as some fabulous restaurants and pubs.
Other popular sights to visit include Longleat, Stonehenge, Avebury, Bowood House, Bristol, Dyrham Park, Castle Combe Race Circuit, Badminton Horse Trials (10 mins by bike!), Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor Cardiff, Westonbirt Arboretum, and various walking trails and cycling paths.
