Property description
A fabulous contemporary cottage in the village of St Just, decorated in minimalist but extremely comfortable style, in various shades of whites, lilacs and pale blues. There are big white sofas in the sunny living room and interesting features using reclaimed wood from the local chapel organ which make unique focal points in both the living room, and wall pieces in the bedroom. A big double bed, a brand new, white bathroom and a sweet, whitewashed courtyard complete the picture.
Location
The house stands in the popular village of St Just, a lively place with nine pubs, a good restaurant and various galleries.
Accommodation
You'll find one double bedroom and a shower room with a loo. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine/dryer etc. The living area is light and spacious with inviting décor, a dining table and an open fire. A small sunny courtyard with seating and a barbecue at the front of the cottage is shared only with the owners.
Facilities
The first basket of logs for the fire is included. There is a TV, a DVD player, a selection of films and some books on local walks.
Central heating, bed linen, towels and electricity are included.
Sorry, no children or pets allowed.
Parking for one car is available at the back. Alternatively, a large free car park is a short level stroll approximately two minutes away.
St Just, Cornwall and the surrounding area
The beautiful coves of Cot Valley and Cape Cornwall are close by (1.5 miles) and can be reached on foot along beautiful coastal paths. The sandy beach at Sennen is just four miles away, with excellent surfing. The artists’ town of St Ives and bigger Penzance are within easy reach, both well worth visits for their excellent shops, pubs and restaurants. If you prefer to simply chill out, the Cape Cornwall Golf Club has a swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi and is a walk away from the cottage.
