Nestled in the beautiful River Wolf valley close to Roadford Lake and working farmland,  the property is off a quiet country lane on the Devon/Cornwall border. This former coach house has been well renovated offering spacious, comfortable accommodation and makes a perfect rural retreat for those who wish to enjoy the peace and seclusion of the area for a romantic break. From kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and sailing, to archery, climbing, fishing, walking and cycling- nearby Roadford Lake offers an excellent day out in Devon for families. Hire water sports equipment, or learn something new with a qualified instructor.

The central location makes the property an ideal base for exploring both Devon and Cornwall where you will have a choice of beaches and coastal walks to the North and South as well as attractions to suit all tastes. These include Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor with its rugged scenery (20 minutes), Lydford Gorge, the Eden Project (40 minutes), Lost Gardens of Heligan, Morwellham Quay and RHS Rosemoor. Plymouth and Exeter are easily accessible, as is Launceston, with its castle, the ancient capital of Cornwall. Golf, cycle paths and riding can be found locally and fishing, sailing and other activities can be found at nearby Roadford Lake.

This spacious accommodation offers one large and spacious bedroom:  with a king-size bed on the first floor and a newly renovated en-suite bathroom with shower and WC. Downstairs extra WC. Lounge/diner: with woodburner effect electric fire, Smart TV/DV. Kitchen: modern with slate flooring, well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: enjoy the private, secluded garden with seating and BBQ. Amenities:  Bed linen, towels, electric and Wi-Fi included. Combination storage and electric heating. Regret no smoking in the property or on the grounds. Regret no pets. We had a great week at this lovely property. The Coach House had everything you could ever need for your stay. Its situated centrally so is within easy reach of a lot of interesting places. Would highly recommend.

The cottage was very enjoyable and so quiet, Samantha and Dave are the most pleasent of host who could not do enough for you, even down to the big bunch of rhubarb for my father, would most definitely recommend a stay here and we've already booked for next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Coach House. Samantha and hubby were excellent hosts. Enjoyed the goodies left for us. Really clean, lots of storage space in the kitchen. Really comfy bed, and when packing don't bother including coat hangers there were plenty. Lovely peaceful setting, ideal for getting out and about. Will definitely visit there aRead moregain. Lovely cottage, tastefully furnished and well equipped. We were so pleased to find the bath had been replaced with a new walk in shower which was great for us. Nice to have private outdoor space.
