A lovely cosy cottage in a delightful village. Perfect size for two people with the added bonus of a private and charming garden at the front of the cottage. The location was perfect for exploring Swaledale and just a mile walk along the river through wildflower meadows to Reeth. Not far from Muker, Keld, Askrigg and the scenery is stunning. The owRead moreners were very friendly but unobtrusive and a delicious chocolate cake awaited our arrival along with tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Hide

This is a cosy cottage set in a very picturesque party of Yorkshire. Its very well equipped and is a place to really get away from it all. The owners were kindly able to provide us with secure bike storage in their garage which was very useful. The village of Reeth is just a mile away. We ate at the Buck which serves food all day and also had coffeRead moree and cake at the Copper Kettle. Both highly recommended. The corner shop is also well equipped. Hide

The cottage is lovely, welcoming and very comfortable - a perfect home from home. Easily one of the nicest cottages I have stayed in. Our hosts were very gracious. My Labrador Clemmie was very happy there as well. We had a delightful week of walks and exploring beautiful Swaledale, not even dampened much by the rain. We will certainly return.

Lovely old cottage, with a delightful small garden. The cottage was well equipped and it was lovely to arrive to tray set out with tea , ground coffee and a delicious chocolate cake. There was milk and a bottle of chilled water in the fridge. It was an ideal place to explore the area with lots of places to visit. It was lovely to just walk down to Read morethe river and walk along the riverbank. There were some delightful places to eat too. Kathy and Krishna were very welcoming and helpful. Hide
