We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, very spacious accommodation. The beds were comfortable. The reclining sofas were comfortable. The location is gorgeous - very peaceful and relaxing. Great garden for our dog. Would highly recommend staying here for a wonderful break in this stunning part of the country. The only negative is that that the lRead moreocal pub is closed down, which was disappointing, but there are pubs in Hawkshead, which is around 20 minutes walk. Hide

Lovely cottage with many walks from the door. We spent cosy evenings in front of the log burner. The pub in the village is closed but you can walk over the fields to Hawkshead its a very path to follow ( we came back in the dark with no problems one evening). The addition of a drying cabinet etc was amazing especially as we got wet a few times drieRead mored our walking gear brilliantly. Took us until 3 days into our stay to realise the sofas are recliners but well appreciated after a day on the hills Hide

The cottage has everything you need, the beds were clean, mattress a bid hard for my liking but might suit others very well. Lots of room to spread out and relax, furniture a little dated maybe but other than that, absolutely fab. Kitchen well equipped, utility had a dryer and a drying cupboard (God send, we were soaked every day!) Ideal for small family, all being on one level children would never feel nervous of being in a new environment. Nice if small garden, plenty if parking for 2 cars, access gateway not overlarge, needs care. Good walks from the door, public transport hourly at the end of the lane if you fancy a break from driving.

Nice little place. Could do with updating for the price we was charged. There was some things in the property that didnt work that we wish had worked. But overall a nice holiday apart from the price.

A lovely welcoming peaceful cottage with plenty of character in a wonderful location. Recliner chairs great after walking the mountains. We found it very spacious. Private sunny garden, which was fairly enclosed for our dog who loved it. Welcome gifts a lovely touch. We will be looking to stay here again.

Cottage was comfortable and warm. Cottage is generally a little tired and some items could do with replacing. And personally I would prefer to have soap and cleaning products provided rather than a welcome pack. Nice location although the entrance is a little tricky!

This cottage is very well positioned for exploring South lakes. We were party of 4 adults and two dogs and there was more than enough space in this extremely spacious cottage all on the level. Would not hesitate to book again.
