Peaceful well equipped cottage. Easily reached from A30. It is very close to the lovely village of Lydford and Lydford Gorge, but access on foot to the village or closest pub requires a short walk on the busy A386.

Ideal location for us. Fantastic warm welcome from Wendy & David. The accommodation was very clean and well-equipped. For two people, the lodge is extremely spacious so you don't feel cramped at all. Lovely view over the large garden. No complaints or criticisms at all. We would happily return there for future visits.

Lydford Lodge was very spacious and comfortable for 2, and our hosts David and Wendy were very friendly. As the weather was so good, it was lovely to be able to sit at the end of the garden and watch the sun go down.

My wife and I had a excellent holiday in a delightful barn conversion near Tavistock in Devon especially as the owners David and Wendy made us most welcome. Being located North West of Dartmoor means we were within easy reach of most of the main places of interest in Devon plus the weather was very good all week.
