What a lovely location, setting, and holiday home! We enjoyed our stay immensely and fully relaxed in all that the cottage offered, as well as enjoying nearby towns and experiences. The owner's attention to detail and responsiveness when we reported a minor issue added to our experience.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Perfect for peace and quiet but only a short drive into the center of York (35 mins to parked in the train station). The cottage is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended and will definitely use it as a base for York again.

A beautiful cottage in a very peaceful location. Very cosy and warm. Ideal for visiting the local area - York, Beverley, Castle Howard. Plenty of local pubs within a 10 - 15 minute drive serving good food. Village pub but only serves drinks.

Lovely cottage in a very peaceful location. About 25 minutes drive from York. The beds were super comfy and the bath in the main bedroom was very welcoming after a day out and about. Lots of thought put into the furnishings and the decor to make it feel like a home from home. We enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks on the patio with the horses in tRead morehe next paddock for company. And we were fascinated watching the rabbits in the garden as dusk fell. We really enjoyed our week at Harry's Stable. The peace and quiet were well appreciated. One negative comment would be about the washhand basin. It was a little high for me and I felt that it could be quite a waste of water. All the pets and wildlife were lovely to enjoy. Beautiful cottage, located in a quiet rural area. You do need a car. Absolutely ideal for those that need easy access (I am disabled), especially the bathroom. Very well located for visiting York, and only an hour from the seaside too. You will be made to feel very welcome by the owner, and also her very well behaved dogs
