Surrounded by breath-taking scenery, this renovated West Highland cottage is the perfect place to escape from it all, embark on walks from your door and explore this corner of Argyll.

Indulge in a romantic retreat for two in this tranquil former croft cottage or share special time with friends, set right at the heart of a Scottish glen. Relax to a backdrop of spectacular views of Loch Awe and Ben Cruachan or venture out to enjoy mountain and riverside walks. Fish in Loch Awe or take a boat out on the water. Walk past the stunning ruins of Kilchurn Castle, standing guard over the great watery expanse. Drive 23 miles into Oban, with its shops and leisure facilities, and then explore the western coast of Scotland. Head 12 miles in the other direction to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

Awake to the sight of deer grazing close by, open the doors from either of of the stylish bedrooms and step out onto the balcony, with its glass balustrade. Prepare breakfast in the kitchen/diner and enjoy it either at the table inside or out on the balcony as you continue to wildlife watch. Settle down for the evening in ther inviting lounge, where you can light the open fire and watch TV. Find a little privacy in the reading room, where there is another TV and where a sofa bed can be made up by arrangement for an additional guest. Relax in the walk-in waterfall shower after a long day of walking.

Savour the seclusion of the setting by spending time out in the large enclosed garden. Please keep an eye on children at all times as there is a fast-flowing burn here. Enjoy a BBQ as dusk falls and make the most of the opportunity for a little star-gazing.

Very nice and cosy place with enough space. A little smaller than expected from the pictures. Nevertheless comfortable for us as a family of four. Location as expected, we even spotted dears from the patio. Warm welcome from the hosts Helen and Peter. Thank you.

A fantastic, rural, idyllic location. Miles from anywhere and an almost perfection location to relax and unwind. There is lots to do and see in the area and the croft offers an ideal location. A warm cosy croft, with one of the best equipped kitchens we've had for many years... including enough food storage for a family of 4.
