Cosy hideaway in the lovely village of Blairmore, located on Loch Long. Perfect romantic escape for a couple looking to enjoy the beaches, history, leisure activities and explore the great outdoors that Argyll has to offer.

Situated on the peaceful coastline of Loch Long, just a short ferry crossing from Gourock, the city of Glasgow offers a great day out with its many shops, museums and art galleries. In the local area you can enjoy fishing or scuba diving or if you would prefer some history then why not visit Castle Toward (16 miles). Lunderston Bay (13 miles) is a beautiful sandy beach with rock pools to explore and you will often find you are the only people there! Nearby Pucks Glen (5 miles) has some lovely walks and stunning waterfalls to discover, and for any keen gardeners Linn or Benmore Botanic gardens are a must.

As you enter the hallway you will instantly feel warm and cosy with the underfloor heating that runs throughout, there is a lounge with wall mounted TV, comfy seating to kick back and relax at the end of a busy day out and about. The small open plan kitchen area within the lounge, has a small electric hot plate, microwave oven, toaster and compact fridge/freezer, it is well equipped to rustle up some breakfast and light bites. Headed back along the hallway there is a lovely stylish shower room which has a shower and WC. Next door is the double bedroom which has a feature sleigh bed.

From the lounge there are patio doors which go out onto a decked area with views over the water, seating and gas BBQ. There is also a nice lawn opposite the patio which offers a nice space to sit out and read a good book or dine al fresco in the summer evenings. It is very snug. Bedroom ok & comfy (not romantic or sleigh bed!), bathroom ok if shower only warm. The living space is a badly laid-out kitchen with a sofa. No oven, no freezer, hot plate didn't work and the toaster sets off the fire alarm every time. You have to do some self catering here as local pubs are not open all week even in peak season. GRead morearden is reasonably enclosed for a small dog that's not too intent on escape. Burdock in garden caused dog to get covered in sticky balls (July). Hide
