Charming lodge located on the owners' grounds and set in a pretty Norfolk village, this is the ideal property and location for a couple to relax and enjoy the fantastic Norfolk countryside and coast.

Situated in the quiet village of Bawdeswell and nestled in the Norfolk countryside, this lodge offers the perfect base for a couple to explore the stunning North Norfolk coastline and the beautiful countryside. Within seven miles you can access The Marriott’s way, which is 26 miles of bridleway and cycle route. Visit the stunning Norfolk Coastline, which includes the towns of Wells-Next-The-Sea, Blakeney and Sheringham. Attractions include the North Norfolk Steam Railway in Holt, the End of the Pier show at Cromer, Thursford, Broads, Pensthorpe Nature reserve and the National Trust properties of Felbrigg and Blickling Hall. Norwich is close by with a range of independent shops and historic buildings. Fakenham Racecourse is a fantastic day out with numerous events throughout the year and this is within ten miles of the property. Horkey Kitchen/Café is available for breakfasts, drinks and cakes nearby to the property.

As you enter this wonderfully presented lodge, you arrive in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/sleeping area. The lounge area consists of a sofa surrounding the wood burner as well as a Smart TV, so offers the perfect environment to unwind after a busy day out exploring. The kitchen area boasts a combi oven and microwave, two ring electric hobs and a fridge with ice compartment. There is a table and two chairs located in the dining area which is the ideal place for breakfast or a spot of lunch or even an evening meal should you wish to dine in. The sleeping area consists of a double bed. There is a shower room with shower and WC.

Outside has an enclosed area with table and chairs for two, a private no bubbles wood fired hot tub which doesn't use chemicals and will last for a maximum 3 - 4 days. Enjoy preparing al fresco meals using the BBQ, and should you bring cycles there is secure storage space for you to use. There is off-road allocated parking for one car to the front of the property.

This was the best we have stayed in, I wouldn't change anything. It was so relaxing and peaceful, wouldn't ask for anything, it was perfect. I have recommended it to family and friends . I will be booking again soon.

Gorgeous cute lodge. Great central location if youre happy to drive to other areas. Lovely pub the railway arms about 6 min drive away and opposite is a fab Becks fish n chip take away.

A very comfy homely place to stay. It was very very clean and perfect for what we was looking for. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. We arrived early and that was not an issue, which helped after a long journey. Couldnt have asked for a better weekend getaway. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a fantastic stay in the lodge. Its comfortable and well equipped, with a lovely pub and tearoom a short distance away. There was some nice touches left on arrival. Hot tub is fantastic, and we would definitely recommend this place for couples who would like a weekend break.

Stayed at this lodge with my boyfriend over a long weekend and it was lovely such a cosy little getaway really lovely welcome goodies when we arrived , which set the tone for the weekend . I would highly recommend going such a lovely experience .

This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Everything had been thought of with little notes and instructions on everything. The place is perfect for a quiet weekend or longer away from the hustle and bustle of the world. One thing I can thoroughly recommend is to get that hot tub warm and get in it! The lodge was very clean and came with everything that was needed for the stay. The area is only a short drive from Dereham and Bawdeswell. The only concern is the hottub area could do with a privacy door, otherwise I am very happy with the condition of the lodge and my stay there.

The property is in a great location close to Norwich and other Norfolk attractions. It was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Fully equipped with everything needed for a great short stay.

A lovely little bolt hole located in the heart of North Norfolk. Lots of fantastic places to visit and no more than 30-40 minutes away. The lodge is compact and bijou but has everything two people require for a nice relaxing break. A decking area, BBQ, a well kept garden and a wood-fired hot tub. Great care was taken by the owners to ensure our staRead morey was relaxing - lovely little touches like a loaf of fresh bread, crisps and Prosecco, so it was straight outside on to the decking area. Lovely cabin in rural Norfolk with plenty to see and do locally within driving distance. Exceptionally clean and well presented. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our stay, and returned home feeling rested and relaxed by our short break.
