A delightful cottage enjoys a convenient location just a stone’s throw from the bustling quayside. This property was clean but be warned its very bijou! I wouldnt say fit for 4 people. Location is great, parking is annoying unless you can get a space near the alleyways. The property was cute, bijou but lacked thought, it wasnt as comfortable as it could have been or practical. Kids bedroom door didnt shut, decking table and chairs were old needeRead mored a sand/varnish, absolute sun trap though but no umbrella. Check out the royal George fabulous food. Only one shop which is small and expensive. Hide

Lovely cottage to stay in. We just about managed space wise with our 12 and 8 yr old. We love Appledore and enjoyed staying in a different property-very central location to amenities.

I was booked in for a week and stayed one night. The alleyway to the cottage was sloped upwards, not ideal with luggage. The cottage was tiny, I couldnt see any chairs for table. Microwave was in high cupboard so would have been dangerous to use. Stairs so narrow couldnt take suitcase up, window to terrace difficult to open. Cosy small cottage in need of sone general improvements as bit on the tatty side with some maintenance issues needing to be rectified. Very comfortable beds but shame other things let it down. Fine if you are not fussy and just want a base (as well located) but other better options available in the area.

Excellent location, Mole End retains a sense of character & charm. It is warm & light & the birdsong in the morning is lovely. IMO, it seems a little neglected overall. Personally I found the standards of cleanliness, care & attention to detail too inconsistent and in some cases lacking altogether. Space is optimised throughout, the kitchen is wellRead more equipped, the furniture is functional. There is WiFi, I found connectivity better upstairs. HC are responsive & easy to deal should the need arise. Hide

Really sweet cosy warm cottage in pretty village. Quiet in Jan but just how we like it, great walking nearby. Slippy outside in lane on cobbles and dark just take care. Steep stairs and very narrow each side of bed. Fully equipped kitchen but lovely cafe, pubs and fish and chips just down road

Loved the position of the cottage only a minute walk from the quay. No problem finding parking in the street. Appledore is beautiful with lots of individual shops, cafes and pubs dotted about in the narrow pedestrian streets.
