There is so much to see and do in the local area, Aira Force waterfalls are well worth a visit as is the Rheged Centre with its exhibitions, pottery, soft play, family theatre, shops and cafes. A short drive will also enable you to head into the Lakes for the day and take a trip on the Ullswater steamers. The Eden Valley is blissfully distracting from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. Local villages nearby offer pubs, bakeries, tea rooms and independent shops. Right from your door walkers and cyclists will be in their element, with the Coast to Coast path close by and just a short drive to Pooley Bridge and Ullswater Lake.

This stunning lodge is the perfect place to getaway and enjoy luxury comforts. As soon as you enter the open-plan living space you will see the detail and expense the owners have gone to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The lounge boasts a sofa and two armchairs tucked around a flame effect electric fire with wall mounted Smart TV along with a built-in speaker system via Bluetooth. The kitchen is stylish with all you need to cook up a feast for any meal. There is a gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave. Head on down the hall where you will find the comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom houses a king-size bed with wall mounted TV and plenty of storage space. There is also an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. Also, off the hall is the twin room with wall mounted TV and main bathroom with shower over bath with WC.

The decking area has been tastefully created to reflect comfort with seating area and your own private hot tub so you can enjoy those lovely evenings with a drink under the stars. There is private parking for two cars.

  • Check in for the lodge is from 3pm and closes at 8pm
  • Please be advised all dogs must be kept on a lead within the grounds
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 15:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday

Absolutely fantastic time. Accommodation was first rate, location was wonderful and all the staff were lovely. So friendly and helpful. The Globe Inn was welcoming and within 2 minutes from the lodge. All appliances were clean and working. Very comfortable and spacious , perfect for 4 people without being on top of each other.

Nice area with friendly people. Only 15 minutes from Penrith centre. Would definitely come back
