Cottage is lovely. Although right in the centre of Cockermouth it was very quiet as tucked away. Place was just as photos if not more spacious. Location great. Cottage was clean with everything you need. Would definitely use again.

Wonderful cottage, so handy to the main town of cockermouth. We travelled everywhere on buses, landlord Matt is lovely so approachable. The cottage has everything you need home from home. Plenty of room is like a little tardis. Highly recommend if you have a dog, enlcosed space both front and back. And really private. Will most definitely return.

A nice clean property in a good location for visiting the lake district and beyond. Parking can be an issue but we managed to work around it. Cockermouth itself is a lovely small town don't miss out on the riverside walk past the castle and the brewery. There are also a couple of reasonable eateries within walking distance of the cottage.
