Go walking at Bassenthwaite Lake, 4 miles from the cottage, or at Whinlatter Forest Park, 7 miles away.
Cross the pretty courtyard to enter the property and find a useful porch, where you can towel down your four-legged friends and leave all your outdoor gear. The kitchen includes a gas oven and hob, microwave, integrated fridge with freezer box, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, and there is a washing machine in the utility area beyond. Put dinner in the oven then pause at the breakfast bar with an aperitif while it roasts. The bedroom and shower room are up on the first floor of the cottage, together with a snug, which has a second Smart TV and a single bed. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and beamed and vaulted ceiling. Discover the shower room has a WC and handbasin.
