Nearby Wycoller (3 miles) boasts the ruins of Wycoller Hall where Charlotte Bronte set parts of her famous novel and is well worth a visit. The popular market town of Skipton, known as the gateway to The Dales, is within a half an hour’s drive where you can browse the cobbled streets and medieval castle or venture further up into the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park.
