There is something for everyone here, whether you’re looking to unwind or enjoy activity and adventure. Just 3.5 miles away, Bala offers cafes, pubs, shops, a swimming pool and Wales’s largest natural lake. Enjoy paddleboarding, boating, a stroll around the lake or a ride on the steam railway. Being in the southernly tip of Snowdonia National Park you can enjoy an abundance of footpaths and cycle routes, superb fishing, varied activities and events in and around this stunning scenery. For the more adventurous, there’s the National White Water Centre, Zip World Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, King Arthur’s Labyrinth and the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin, all within 30 miles.

This accessible cosy barn has a lovely feel with all you need for your holiday. Walk into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, hang up your coats and enjoy a hot drink as you settle in. If you decide to eat in too, with local purchases from your travels, the kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table is the perfect setting to enjoy a meal together and plan your holiday activities. After a full day out, relax on the sofa to enjoy your favourite programmes on the Freeview TV/DVD, and embrace the views over the patio garden and down the valley. When ready for bed there are two twin bedrooms to choose from, both designed for a good night's sleep. Take a leisurely start to the day in the stylish shower room with WC.

Make the most of this elevated location and enjoy morning coffee at the picnic bench in the enclosed patio with views over the scenic countryside and distant winding river. Maybe light the charcoal BBQ for a spot of al fresco dining. You are welcome to explore the designated footpaths in the farmland and stroll down to the River Dee. Warm friendly welcome, property lovely and clean with beautiful views. Love fact it is dog friendly. Nice quiet location but you do need transport.

Lovely, accessible bungalow with fantastic views. Beautiful area and great owners who are obviously experienced and very responsive if you have any questions. Very clean. Could do with some double beds really. Nice washroom where you can use the washing machine/s and hang up your washing outside. (In addition to the washing machine inside the cottaRead morege.) Bala only 2 miles for dog friendly accessible pubs, supermarkets, takeaways. This cottage is a great base to visit the area,although the location itself has stunning views. Lake Bala has accessible pathway and there is a tarmac path from the Bala bridge car park to a loop riverside walk, the path is around 2 miles wheelchair and dog friendly. Best Read moreplace weve stayed in Wales so far and definitely will return, locals friendly and happy to offer help with my husband in his wheelchair. Well done Hide

This cottage was excellent for myself and my wife (a wheelchair user). Smooth tarmaced parking place and gently ramp up into the house (flat access). Plenty of space once inside, and the floor was fine for the chair. We stuck a loo frame and a shower seat in the car as we booked so late (the day before we came) that we didn't have time to ask if weRead more could borrow them. The place was perfect! Horses and sheep are just minutes walk and the views of mountains and lakes are fantastic the accommodation has everything you need and the owners have a house right by the cottages so if you need anything they are there! They are super friendly and my family fell in love with their dog Perfect place quite and beautiful

I chose the cottage to suit my disabled husbands needs and it was perfect. Easy access via a solid ramp with handrail, lovely wide doorways to get a wheelchair through and a roomy wetroom with grab-rails. We were also offered the use of a raised loo seat and a shower stool.
