Enjoy a romantic getaway for two in this stylish converted farm building, lovingly presented in a contemporary country style.

This quaint property enjoys a peaceful position, tucked away on the owners’ farm, yet within easy reach of many local amenities. Nestled in the village of Longton, there are a wealth of shops, pubs and cafes within just a few minutes' walk. Centrally located with excellent transport links, there is much to see and do in the area. For a spot of retail therapy, the bustling city centre of Preston is just 5 miles away and the seaside resorts of Lytham St Annes and Blackpool are within 20 miles. For picturesque walks and charming villages, visit the popular Forest of Bowland, 15 miles away. Within an hour’s drive is also the Lake District National Park, home to some of the most stunning scenery in the country.

A former farm building, the property has been thoughtfully restored with wonderful attention to detail in the fixtures and fittings. Step inside to find a comfortable open-plan living space finished in a sleek, contemporary style. The dining area boasts a Smart TV and stylish wooden table with a raised wall-mounted bench and the kitchen is equipped with an air fryer, combi microwave/oven and a fridge with a freezer compartment. At the end of the day, retire to the sleeping area which features a king-size bed, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Through a door at the rear of the property, you will find a wonderful shower room with a WC.

Across the courtyard is a large, lawned garden with a picnic area with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. This is shared with three other cottages on site. There is ample off-road parking and secure bicycle storage, on request.

It was a lovely stay and very cosy. When we got there, the cottage hadnt been cleaned but after phoning them they sorted it and apologised. No complaints here, me and my partner had a perfect holiday.
