Plan your next break to this charming family-friendly cottage on the beautiful St Mellion Estate. You’ll be within reach of a host of fantastic South Devon attractions so you can enjoy jam-packed days out or stay in and relax with plenty of on-site leisure facilities too. The Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is on your doorstep with walking and cycle routes criss-crossing the landscape so you can enjoy time in the great outdoors. For city adventures, venture across the river to Plymouth (12 miles) home to the National Marine Aquarium, museums, galleries, and seafront Hoe Park. Venture to the scenic National Trust sites of Cotehele Mill and Buckland Abbey (both within 16 miles), or visit Looe (15.5 miles) Seaton Beach (13.5 miles), or the Rame Head Heritage Coast (20 miles).

Step into this reverse-level accommodation and admire the spiral staircase which leads to the open-plan living space on the first floor. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms, including a bunk bedroom with plenty of storage space, and a master bedroom with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request at the time of booking), plus a dressing area, seating space, freestanding bath, Smart TV and patio doors leading outside to the terrace. There is also a WC on this floor. Head up the spiral staircase and you will find a welcoming lounge/kitchen/dining room, as well as a shower room with WC. The large open-plan living space features a fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The lounge area offers comfy seating and a Smart TV, plus patio doors to the balcony - the perfect spot for relaxing with a cold drink after a long day. There is a good-sized dining table which is in the centre of the room where the family can sit together and talk about their day over a meal or two.

Outside is a terrace area with garden furniture, plus a balcony off the lounge. There are also 450 acres of natural grounds to roam. Guests have use of the on-site Health Club, and there is private off-road parking for two cars.

Lovely lodge in a quiet position and well equipped , everything that you need for your stay is in the lodge also it was nice and warm. We had use of the health spa swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym which was very nice

An excellent location with very good facilities on site. The whole cottage decor has been tastefully upgraded and so much nicer than when we stayed in one of the adjacent properties before Covid. Ideal for two adults or a family with young children( though the spiral staircase might prove a problem for some) Easy parking right by the front door(no Read moreheavy cases to carry upstairs). We hope to return in the near future as our stay was very comfortable and quiet. Hide

The cottage was in a lovely peaceful setting. It was well equipped and a great location for travelling around Cornwall and Devon.
