Set in an idyllic location surrounded by woodland, this lovingly fitted and furnished hut is the perfect escape for couples with plenty to explore on your doorstep.

Enjoying a peaceful position within Dartmoor National Park, a central location within reach of the coast (15.5 miles), this is a great base for countryside romps or days out by the sea. The cosy hut is great for getaways whether you’re looking for a romantic retreat or an action-packed stay exploring and rambling the trails and tors. Located 1 mile away is the delightful moorland village of Holne with an active farm and farm shop, pub, fishing, and tearoom. Explore Dartmoor with walks right from the doorstep.

Step inside this cosy shepherd’s hut and into the perfectly designed living and sleeping area. This wonderful space includes a double bed bunk, with a lower bunk that has sufficient headroom to sit up in. The warming wood burner can crackle away in the background whilst you enjoy an evening meal on the dining table or sit comfortably on the sofa and unwind reading your favourite book. A compact yet practical kitchen space including fridge and two-ring gas hob means you can prepare fresh ingredients for a tasty supper. Finishing off the cosy accommodation is a separate shower room with walk-in shower and WC.

Further delights await outside - a private gravelled area with garden furniture, fire-pit and a gas BBQ mean you can enjoy some al fresco dining or just relax with a glass of your favourite tipple. Enjoy the sunset and stargaze whilst toasting some marshmallows to relax after a long day’s exploration. Off-road parking is provided directly outside.

We totally loved our stay here!! It was just perfect and Its m such a beautiful location. We also took our dog with us who also had the best time and its great it being just a short walk away from the moor. We will definitely be coming again. THANK YOU!!
