This lovely cottage has been renovated to a high standard and provides a wonderful retreat for couples wanting to explore the unique town of Tetbury, home to Highgrove House. The thriving market town is renowned for its independent shops and is a major centre for antiques. Take a day out to Westonbirt National Arboretum (4 miles) for beautiful walks, or Cotswold Water Park (10 miles) is a great opportunity to try some water-based activities. The Roman town of Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds, is 10 miles away and well worth a visit to learn about its Roman history, with the Corinium Museum being a highlight. It is also the perfect spot for attending the Badminton and Gatcombe horse trials. Just outside Tetbury is Chavenage House, a beautiful Elizabethan manor house that is open to the public all year round. After a busy day exploring, make your way back to this charming cottage ideally located just off the town centre.

Head straight into a living area with its wood burner, comfortable seating and dining table for two. Continue through into the fully equipped kitchen, ideal for a self-catered break utilising the fantastic local produce you will find in the area. On the first floor, the owners have created another living area with a sofa and Smart TV, perfect for enjoying a movie together. Also on this floor is the cosy bathroom. The bedroom is up on the second floor with a king-size bed, a partially sloping ceiling and a low window.

We had a great week at the cottage which was very well equipped, warm and cosy. The decor is very tasteful, and everything in the property is of a high standard and quality. There was plenty of information about local walks, places to visit, and recommendations of local eateries, and the homemade lemon drizzle cake and bottle of fizz were a nice weRead morelcome touch. It is the perfect place for a couple, we would highly recommend! Hide
