Situated just 4 miles up the beautiful Cornish coastline from Newquay, this lovingly converted dairy barn truly does offer the perfect romantic retreat. Situated between Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth (2 miles) which both offer sandy golden beaches as well as being ideally placed for exploring the countryside. Feel the crackle of twigs beneath your feet on picturesque walking trails in land or for a more coastal scene, jump on the rugged South West Coast Path, where you will surely find many rugged coves and historic fishing villages to explore. Newquay itself provides many reasons for a day trip including the glorious golden sandy beaches and turquoise waters beyond, famous for providing some of the best surf in the UK. There are also many local eateries serving up all sorts of local delicacies. Other popular attractions include Newquay Zoo (4 miles) and the hugely interesting Eden Project just 16 miles away.

Upon entering this cosy converted dairy barn you will soon notice the fabulous blend of original and contemporary features on offer. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner sits on slate flooring and is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The lounging space makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive and provides a comfortable sofa and warming wood burner allowing you to put your feet up, relax and enjoy your favourite films on the Smart TV. Onto the kitchen you have everything you need for a stress-free, convenient stay whilst the solid oak dining table sits multiple guests with ease. Making your way upstairs there is a beautiful king-size bedroom with exposed open beams. It has a solid oak bed, dressing table, Smart TV and console table with a fitted double wardrobe. The en-suite shower room connects to this room.

Stepping outside the cottage will bring you to your own enclosed patio space, complete with outdoor seating and BBQ allowing you to relax under the stars with your favourite tipple.

This place is a real gem , so cozy with everything you could possibly need , super comfy bed and spotless , the log burner is a real treat and owner supplied us with as much wood as we needed , close to everything shops , supermarket pub , and amazing beaches , would deffo return

Such a lovely cottage, perfect for a weekend away. Everyone I spoke to during our stay was so friendly and welcoming. Loved the little Easter treats too. Nice touch.
