This beautiful cottage is set in a converted dairy barn on a gorgeous horse riding farm. With its exposed beams and stylish decor, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in this rural escape. Visit the resident pigs and sheep or spend the afternoon horse riding with the on-site professionals, one of the most relaxing past times. There is an on-site restaurant and the kids can let off some steam in the children’s play park. For a family day out, you’ve got Butterfly World and Monkey Haven within 0.5 miles and looking further afield, Tapnell Farm and Blackgang Chine are not to be missed (both within 11 miles). For the lovers of the outdoor pursuits, why not explore the island’s many walking and cycling trails which offer amazing panoramic views of the coast and countryside and are perfect for your four-legged friends.

As you approach the property, you’ll come through a striking archway and into a quaint courtyard where you will find this lovely holiday cottage. Upon entering, you’ll find yourself in the kitchen which is well equipped and provides everything for a stress-free holiday. A small reception hall leads to the light lounge/diner, offering ample comfortable seating and a dining table and chairs. Curl up in front of the Smart TV and watch a family film after a long day out exploring all that the island has to offer. Completing the ground floor is a large shower room and a door to the garden. Head upstairs and you’ll find the first bedroom which is a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made in to a 2’6” twin upon request) and overlooks the garden. This bedroom also features an en-suite bathroom, ideal for taking a long soak and unwinding at the end of a full day of activities. Through this floor, there’s a 2’6” twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a king-size upon request) and has an en-suite shower room.

Finally, as you head back downstairs and out the back of the property, you’ll find the enclosed garden offering outdoor furniture, ideal for al fresco dining in the summer sunshine. Out the front of the property there is also a communal garden for the courtyard with seating and a separate exercise area for the dogs on site.

This holiday accommodation is functional and well-maintained. Good sized rooms upstairs and downstairs. Excellent showers/bathrooms and kitchen fittings and applicances were good. Altogether comfortable and clean. Safe & secure garden for exercising dogs and easy parking. Staff were contactable and responsive.

I booked one of the cottages for 3 adults and a dog. Our cottage was in the stable block. It was two bedroom, both with full en suite bathrooms and another shower room downstairs. It had a full kitchen with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and cooker. The lounge was a good size with 2, two seater leather sofas, a grand Smart TV and dining arRead moreea.
