The market town of Penrith is also nearby (10 miles), with an array of shops, pubs, and restaurants to choose from. For an adventurous day out, there’s a direct train service from here to Glasgow and Edinburgh if you fancy exploring the shops, museums, and art galleries slightly further afield.
