This cottage is perfect for couples, families and friends wanting a country cottage retreat, right in the heart of Bakewell with the added benefit of off-road parking and a pretty, enclosed courtyard garden. Walk just 100 metres from the front door and you will reach Bakewell’s many shops, quaint cafes, pubs and restaurants. Bakewell sits on the River Wye, an ideal place to sit and watch the world go by. Chatsworth House and Gardens can be reached in under 5 miles. Step into the characterful hallway with beautiful oak flooring that leads through to the lounge. Relax on the sofa in front of the Smart TV and open up the patio doors that lead onto the courtyard garden. During the winter, light the wood burner, which creates the perfect atmosphere for cosy nights by the fire. The open-plan kitchen/diner offers everything you need to rustle up a hearty meal; come together around the nearby dining table and enjoy a meal with good company. Head upstairs and you will find two bedrooms, each befitting from its own en-suite, including one with a lovely roll-top bath.

Great position for exploring Bakewell and so good to have parking. Kitchen could be a bit better equipped eg tongues and maybe some flutes. 10/10 to the owner who rectified an Internet issue very quickly.

The cottage is well positioned for local amenities. It is lovely and cosy and its wonderful having two bedrooms both with their own en suite facilities. Bakewell is charming and this property has all the advantages of being centrally located, quiet and it has parking on site. Fantastic place to stay when visiting the area.
