Dove Cottage, is very snug and cosy, just right for two people, and surprisingly spacious. The small Patio outside is lovely and just right for a coffee or a glass of wine. We had a wonderful stay at Dove Cottage. Perfect for two of us and our dog. Exquisitely decorated and had everything we needed. The shower was great, comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. We were so lucky with the weather for Oct, so mild and blue skies. Managed to eat breakfast on the patio a few mornings and dinner in the evening. I would really recommend this cottage. It is beautifully restored with everything you need for a restful stay. The bathroom is lovely, as is the kitchen. The bed was really comfortable and I slept really well. Stamford is an interesting town with some great restaurants. We also loved exploring Rutland Water and Burleigh House.
