Renovated in 2023 are these two stone barn conversions situated up on the hilltop in the picturesque village of Grosmont, nestled within the scenic North York Moors National Park. Grosmont is a charming village that exudes old-world charm and natural beauty. One of the highlights is the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, a heritage steam railway that runs through Grosmont and provides a nostalgic journey through picturesque countryside to Pickering. The village itself boasts traditional stone buildings, cosy pubs, and delightful tea rooms, perfect for indulging in a cuppa and savouring local treats. Outdoor enthusiasts will find ample opportunities for hiking and exploring the surrounding moorland and woodland areas, including the stunning Esk Valley. Spend the day at the seaside town of Whitby (9.5 miles) known for its gothic ruins reached via the 199 Steps, cobbled streets and quirky shops. A trip here wouldn't be complete without some tasty fish and chips on the sandy beach.

Escape to a romantic haven, adorned with stylish interior touches that exude timeless charm. The cottage has underfloor heating throughout so you'll always have warm and toasty feet! The open-plan living space boasts exposed wooden beams and stone walls, providing that traditional rustic charm, whilst the dual-aspect breath-taking view of rolling pastureland over the valley, creates a serene backdrop for your getaway. The modern kitchen is generously equipped, allowing you to indulge your culinary desires, while the adjacent dining area invites intimate meals for two. The lounge area beckons you with its inviting log burner, perfect for cosy evenings spent together whilst watching a film on the Smart TV or simply stream your chosen music. When it's time to get some sleep, venture into the beautiful bedroom that welcomes you with sumptuous bedding, ensuring a restful night's sleep. And when it comes time to pamper yourself, the gorgeous en-suite shower room awaits, complete with a walk-in shower and WC. This one-bedroom holiday cottage is the epitome of perfection for couples seeking a romantic retreat amidst idyllic surroundings.

Step through the doors onto the flagstone patio, enclosed with a traditional drystone wall, where you can unwind and soak in the picturesque countryside vistas. Enjoy breakfasts, lunches, or romantic evening meals at the table outside, toasting to your Yorkshire getaway. There is off-street parking for one car.

Excellent modern cottage with fantastic views both North and south. Well equipped and comfortable. The south facing patio must be a wonderful sun trap in summer.

This is a stylishly furnished and thoughtfully converted barn in a stunning location. We loved the views from the windows and being able to watch the North Yorkshire Moors steam trains in the valley below. There were good walks in the vicinity. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and provided a welcome gift and fresh eggs from the hens on the farm.
