Situated within the grounds of a country home, this traditional Herefordshire barn is simply perfect for a stay in the countryside. It offers stylish accommodation for up to three guests within two bedrooms. Staunton-on-Arrow has retained its rural charm, situated on the River Arrow. Nearby, the Mortimer Trail and Offa's Dyke offer unbeatable walking and a network of public footpaths is within easy reach, including the wooded Iron Age Fort at Wapley Hill and the moorlands of Hergest Ridge. Head towards the Welsh mountains for lakes, waterfalls, and the Elan Valley. Cyclists can enjoy the Black and White Village Trail. Visit the border market towns of Kington and Presteigne (both within 6 miles) for local produce and crafts. Just 10 miles away, Leominster boasts a wealth of antique shops, and the gastronomic centre of Ludlow is 15 miles. For the adventurous, the outdoor activity centre at Oaker Wood is 8 miles away.

This lovely property was formerly a stable, with accommodation now set on the first floor. It lies within established grounds in the heart of a peaceful Herefordshire village and boasts views over apple orchards and the surrounding hills. With access via the ground floor, where there is space for coats and boots, a staircase leads you to the first floor, finished beautifully with original exposed beams, rich colours and interesting artwork. The light and spacious living space is open-plan and approached via a well-equipped galley kitchen; here you will find all you need for preparing meals. The lounge/diner enjoys views across the gardens from the ornate windows and features a cosy sofa and reading chair in front of a wood burner, a Smart TV, and a table and chairs for dining. Across the landing, guests have the choice of two bedrooms: a double bedroom with French doors offering views across the gardens, and a single room with exposed beams. Both bedrooms share the family bathroom.

Outside, guests can enjoy the large lawned area behind the barn with a table and chairs, perfectly placed for summer dining.

We had a lovely weeks stay with our two dogs. The flat is well equipped and comfortable and in a very peaceful and quiet setting with great views all around. Its a great base to explore the surrounding area, with some great walks nearby.

Very nice barn conversion, quiet location perfect for long stays. Beautiful gardens and very nice and helpful owners Alex & Victoria made sure we had everything as we stayed a month. Easy to park and everything you need for a home from home we will be staying again when back in U.K.
