Charming cottage, nestled in a peaceful position in the pretty town of Duns which sits on the edge of the Lammermuir hills. There’s a wonderful market square and fascinating high-tech museum, dedicated to local motor racing legend Jim Clark, which is located just across from the property. The town boasts quirky shops, eateries, and friendly inns. Visit Paxton House, enjoy a boat trip or go fishing on the River Tweed. Tour numerous magnificent castles including Floors, Bamburgh, Thirlstaine, and Tantallon. Explore the Berwickshire coastline and visit Eyemouth, Berwick-upon-Tweed and the seaside village of St Abbs with its dive centre and nature reserve, which was recently featured as a filming location for the blockbuster film, Avengers Endgame. Take a sea-safari wildlife boat trip or even enjoy surfing at Coldingham Bay.

The cottage is a converted stable dating back to 1760, located within its own small garden, set away from the owner's home on the other side of a courtyard. With a home-from-home feel, it’s the ideal base for discovering this corner of Northumberland. As you enter the property you will find a spacious hallway with a ground-floor double bedroom and a wet room opposite. There is a well-equipped country-style kitchen with a breakfast table, and a bright spacious lounge with a dining area is off the kitchen. This is a lovely space to kick back, relax and catch up with a favourite series on the Smart TV, or sit around the dining table and enjoy a board game with the family. On a summer's day you can open the French doors and relax on the patio. On the first floor, which is accessed from the staircase in the hallway, you will find a pretty twin bedroom and a second bathroom.

There is a private garden with patio and seating; enjoy listening to the birds with a morning coffee or a good book.
