Nestled close to the historic market town of Nantwich (5 miles away), this delightful lodge sits in 50 acres of grazing farmland, whilst being located just 5 miles from the M6. This blend of rural living and accessibility is perfect for small families and groups looking to explore the variety of what Cheshire and its borders of Shropshire and Staffordshire have to offer. Visit the bustling town of Nantwich, home to beautiful Tudor and Georgian architecture, independent shops and eateries and cultural events such as the Food Festival in August and the Jazz & Blues Music Festival around Easter.  For those who enjoy adventures on 2 wheels, the famous Cheshire Cycle Way winds conveniently through the property’s village of Hough or perhaps you’d prefer to explore the farm’s 50 acres of countryside on foot and stumble across public footpaths that are plentiful in the area. Travel a little further afield to the scenic Sandstone Trail (15 miles) and Delamere Forest (20 miles), both offering varied levels of walking and cycling for all abilities. If spending an afternoon swinging iron is your thing, you could even challenge yourself to a round of golf on a PGA standard course at Wychwood Park only 2.5 miles away.

Upon entering the single-storey lodge, kick off your walking boots in a fully equipped utility room before making your way into the large open-plan kitchen and living area. Spend the colder months cuddled up around the feature wood burner or swing open the two sets of patio doors in summer and let the natural light fill this beautiful space. As well as the dining table, gather around the breakfast bar to enjoy conversation whilst rustling up the seasonal produce you’ve sourced from the local vendors. Wake up to the sights and sounds of nature with both bedrooms offering beautiful views of the Cheshire countryside through their patio doors. A large master bedroom with an en-suite shower room sits at the front of the property and a spacious twin room with another en-suite shower room to the rear. Both bedrooms are complete with ample wardrobe and storage space. There is an additional WC between the living and sleeping wing of the property.

Access the lodge through the gates of the main farmhouse, following the driveway down to this private setting. Spacious decking areas hug both the front and rear of the property allowing you to delight in both the morning and evening sun. BBQ on the patio and dine al fresco on the decking or simply sit back and relax with a book in hand whilst cattle graze in the field in front of you.

Had a wonderful stay here! The Lodge is extremely comfortable and homely, especially with the fire on which made it very cosy, and was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location is great, really peaceful and quiet, but not far from towns like Nantwich to explore. Our hosts were friendly and really helpful, and the little extRead morera touches really made our stay lovely, so thank you! Hide
