Nestled within a 60-acre farm in Shropshire, this chic wooden pod is a wonderful escape for the family. Guests are welcome to explore the farm’s grounds which include a 4-acre orchard and 16 acres of rolling pastureland with a babbling brook. Make use of the deer hides to spot abundant wildlife, meet the friendly herd of pygmy goats, and have fun in the shared games barn. Much Wenlock is only 3 miles away with its independent shops and variety of places to eat, while the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge is 7 miles away with a wealth of attractions and museums. Walking and cycling trails abound if you fancy some outdoor adventures; the Shropshire Way and Offa’s Dyke Path are all nearby. Or if you’d like to discover some local history, there are some beautiful National Trust properties, such as Benthall Hall (6 miles), Attingham Park (8 miles), and Powys Castle (31 miles).

Surrounded by countryside, walk into this cosy pod perfect for a romantic getaway with all your creature comforts. To your left is the kitchen area with all the equipment you need to rustle up a meal with local produce purchased on your travels. There is a shared laundry in a separate barn. The open plan living area with comfortable sofa and chairs is a lovely space to return to after a full day out exploring. Relax watching your favourites on the Smart TV, plan your holiday activities or peruse the books and local guides. If you fancy something more active head over to the shared games room with table tennis and a football table for evening entertainment. When ready to retire, enjoy a good night's sleep in the comfortable king-size bed. Start the day with a leisurely shower in the stylish bathroom with, followed by a morning coffee in the garden looking towards the Wrekin and rolling Shropshire Hills.

Outside you can enjoy al fresco dining on the paved patio with table, chairs, charcoal BBQ, and to extend the evening relax by the fire pit to make the most of this inspiring countryside from sunrise to sunset. You are welcome to explore the 60-acre farmland with a private footpath to the brook across the paddock enjoying the wildlife along the way. There is private parking for one car and a covered bike store for your bicycles.

Very nice and clean cottage. Nice place for a weekend away from a city. Plenty of walks and views
