A path leads over the dunes from the cabin to beach, an expanse of unspoilt, award-winning sand and calm, sheltered waters. You’ll find a shop, post office, pub, fish and chip shop, and water sports schools in the quiet, beachfront village of Sea Palling. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes to explore. You could also take a boat trip on Hickling Broad (5.5 miles), visit the resident seal colony at Horsey Gap (4 miles) or head into the city of Norwich (20 miles).

In the dining room, you’ll find padded corner seating, porthole windows, a large table, and doors leading to the garden. The spacious bedroom has a king-size bed and a desk where you can enjoy the rural views as you work. A bathroom features a free-standing bath and statement brass fittings, while a separate shower cubicle gives you a choice of facilities.

This cottage has a front garden with a lawn of marram-type grass and Norfolk reed. A covered veranda enables you to sit out and enjoy the views in all weathers, and the table, bench seating and washing-up station make it an ideal place for outdoor dining. At the rear of the property is a steep path leading over the sand dunes onto Sea Palling Beach. There is an alternative footpath which is easier to walk, further up the road to the left, access via a boardwalk.

A quirky and magical cabin within the dunes. Beautiful location, a short steep climb up the back garden to the top of the dunes, when you are meet by a fantastic view over the beach to the sea. If you are lucky you will see seals swimming by.

Santa Monica is a lovely quiet location, right on the beach at sea palling. The steep incline to the back leads on to the dunes and then the open dog friendly beach. There is an easier route to the beach a little way along the lane you need to be quite fit and agile to get up and down from the cottage. We went in October, so it was quiet. The gRead morearden to the front is enclosed, but you would need to keep your eyes on inquisitive dogs as there are ways to get out to adjacent properties. The place is quirky and quite lovely The bed is very comfortable. There is no light pollution, which makes for exceptional night skies when it's clear. All in all a good place for a relaxing break. The cottage although dated is in an ideal location. The garden has a good sunny aspect and very peaceful. Bed is very comfortable. When we had an issue it was resolved immediately with good communication. Good equipment in kitchen, outdoor sink was handy. We had a great week.
