This contemporary apartment overlooks the award-winning golden sands of Porthminster Beach, making it the perfect coastal retreat for couples or families. Relax and dip your toes in the azure blue waters or for the more adventurous why not sample the local water sports for a true Cornish seaside experience? With beautiful views of Godrevy Lighthouse, this beach was the inspiration for Virginia Woolf’s novel ‘To The Lighthouse’ and boasts the mildest climate in the UK. Sample delicious freshly-caught seafood in the famous cafe located right on the sand or take a short stroll (less than 0.5 miles) and explore the many independent shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and bars that St Ives has to offer.

Decorated with a neutral palette, the decor of this comfortable property echoes its seaside surroundings with coastal-inspired soft furnishings and art on the walls. The spacious open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen area is ideal for socialising. The lounge offers spectacular views of the sea from each of the two leather seats, one of which can be used as a sofa bed. Second stay at this flat. Fantastic views from the window far over St Ives Bay, and Porthminster beach which is in front of the flat. The flat is very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We would very much like to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment with stunning views over the beach and bay. It was a very comfortable stay with all the necessary facilities to hand for a self catering holiday. The information booklet gave useful tips of St Ives. The parking space was definitely a plus. We would love to come and spend another a week here in the futuRead morere. Hide

A lovely comfortable apartment with great views out of the living room. Everything required was in the apartment except a hoover. Be prepared for steep hills and a lot of steps to get back to the apartment from the town centre and railway station.

Great location and views of sunrise over Carbis Bay. We saw seals on several days from the apartment window. Handy for the bus station and train station but the walk to/from town might be a problem with limited mobility - either steep road or a couple of flights of steps to Carrack Widden. Good parking slot for this flat.

The position of this property with its dedicated parking place and outstanding views over Porthminster beach and the bay beyond, make this property very desirable. Having the beds made up for your stay and towels provided is also welcome after a long journey.

Lovely apartment with amazing view over Porthminster beach & the sea. Comfortable lounge area with 2 sofas & a large TV. Nice bedroom with plenty of storage. Kitchen area has all you need although we didn't need to use the oven as we tended to eat out. Bathroom is fine with toilet washbasin & bath with decent shower

Lovely apartment, views you can die for, located 15 minutes walk to St Ives beach, some steep inclines to conquer to and from the beach, not for the infirm or disabled. Appartment has everything you need for your stay, looking a little dated in places but comfortable.

Very comfortable flat with the most fantastic views of St Ives Bay, and the train coming in and out of the station below - we preferred to have our evening meals at the flat so we could fully enjoy the view. Flat has been furnished beautifully, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Parking space greatly appreciated

The owners of this lovely apartment have gone to great lengths to ensure guests are comfortable. It is ideal for couples, positioned only a short walk into the heart of St Ives, the most fantastic view from the lounge window of Porthminster Beach. Free parking for one car on site is a huge benefit. The kitchen has everything you need, with lots of Read moreutensils, there is plenty of hot water and heating and a bedroom with a super comfy bed and lots of storage. Comfortable flat with lovely views from large picture window.Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss.Towels and bedding were provided but we would have liked to see a set of fresh towels for our second week as 2 small bath towels and 2 hand towels wasnt really sufficient for a 2 week stay so best take extra towels yourself.Nice size bathroom but shower area cRead moreould do with a refurb Hide
