The grand spa town of Buxton is 7 miles away and offers plenty of lovely dining and shopping options.

The welcoming stone cottage has ample space for relaxation in the lounge with its huge stone fireplace housing a wood burner, light and bright furnishings and comfy sofas and armchairs. The superb, colourful kitchen is a great size and has a lovely cottage farm feel with its exposed beams, barn door and tiled flooring. There is also a small dining table and chairs. Upstairs, a high, beamed ceiling gives the double bedroom a fantastic light and airy feel while the comfy bed promises a wonderful night’s sleep. The converted barn croft has a sweet cottage feel. We enjoyed having sheep, cows and goats as neighbors. Joy and John were absolutely lovely. Kitchen is completely functional for cooking, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom very large. Taddington is a very quiet village with a single pub with terrific food, and it is easy to get to nearby townRead mores and villages. Hikes abound as do gorgeous vistas. Highly recommend this stay.
