Directly on the seafront in the popular coastal town of Aldeburgh, is this perfect holiday hideaway - ideal for a romantic couple’s retreat. All the amenities which Aldeburgh offers are under 200 metres away along the town’s pretty high street. Guests will find a great selection of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The surrounding towns are also well worth a trip. The quaint and quintessential English seaside towns of Southwold (18 miles) and Snape (6 miles) are always popular and equally pretty. Here, you’re surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just over a mile from Snape Maltings with its fantastic Victorian buildings, independent shops and galleries as well as a range of places to eat and drink. There’s also a retail complex here as well as the world-renowned Snape Maltings Concert Hall.

The property itself is a seafront, studio apartment on the lower ground floor opposite Aldeburgh beach. It has a bright and colourful open-plan living and sleeping area, tastefully decorated to create a cosy interior. The bed is a double, and there is a separate kitchen area, which, whilst small, is perfectly formed with all the appliances a guest needs for an easy self-catering holiday, plus a breakfast bar for informal meal times. The bathroom has a double shower cubicle and WC. For laundry, guests have shared use of the washing machine in the apartment building’s communal area.

Outside the apartment there are three steps up to an allocated patio area with a table and chairs for guests to enjoy during the warmer months. It is the perfect spot to soak up the sun and experience those uninterrupted sea views.

This a really well appointed compact basement flat, I am so impressed with the kitchen which is relatively large and well equipped for such a small area. Cosy but not cramped and plenty of natural light. The location is pretty unbeatable, we loved being just a step away from the beach. Clean and tidy with plenty of storage. Good shower, comfortable bed. Its a real gem of a place.

Small but well equipped and comfortable basement flat located right on the seafront. No sea views from inside flat but theres a small sitting out area at ground level. We had a great time. The location is as good as it gets in Aldeburgh, with a patio looking directly onto the beach, and the studio flat, though quite compact, was ideal for our needs. It was our second visit. I dont think it will be our last!

This apartment is very well equipped and extremely compact. It has a nice PROPER shower, two POANG chairs, John Lewis cookware, a LARGE fridge and a separate LARGE freezer plus plenty of storage! It is next to the Brudenell Hotel so has a "Royal Tier" view of the New Year FIREWORKS! There's no sea view but this can be an advantage during the WinteRead morer storms! There's a shared washing machine in a directly adjoining room with plenty of hanging arrangements. iron and ironing board plus a vacuum cleaner IN this shared adjoining room. This is a great little place. Great location - we loved sitting on the patio, looking out to sea - very comfortable and well-equipped. Only minor grumble is that the property is a basement flat, therefore there is no sea view from inside! But this didnt detract at all. We had a great time and would happily stay there again.
