This stylish lodge is nestled in a wonderful tranquil position enjoying spectacular valley and mountain views in this Area of Outstanding Natural beauty, on the magical mystical Isle of Skye.

This luxurious property is nestled in an elevated position on a beautiful working croft, with breath-taking views over the MacLeod’s Tables and the Trotternish Ridge. Within easy reach of Uig with its splendid bay that is home to the ferry terminal to the Outer Hebrides, or enjoy a wildlife boat trip and spot puffins, seals, sea eagles and perhaps even whales. The islands capital of Portree is close at hand, with its excellent range of leisure and shopping facilities, quality eateries and beautiful colourful harbour. Take a tour around Talisker Distillery. Enjoy a trip to the magical fairy pools at Glenbrittle. Visit Dunvegan castle and gardens, explore coral beach, The Old Man of Stor and the spectacular Cuillin range.

Entering the bespoke single-storey lodge into the hall, through to the stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge, with wonderful valley and mountain views and French doors leading out to the fully enclosed balcony, is the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring the amazing local area and perhaps watch a great movie on the Smart TV or listen to your music on the Bluetooth sound bar. The bespoke well-equipped kitchen is the ideal place to cook up a storm with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, Dualit espresso coffee machine and dishwasher. Enjoy romantic or family meals in the comfortable dining area and admire the spectacular valley views over the MacLeod’s Tables. Continuing back through the hall you will find the delightful double bedroom with TV and well appointed en-suite Jack and Jill shower room and WC that can also be accessed from the hall. Next is the twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request) with TV and magnificent valley views also with en-suite shower room and WC. Finally, completing the accommodation is the handy utility room with washer/dryer and ample storage space.

Venturing outside onto the fully enclosed balcony, perfect for al fresco dining or an evening stargazing across the MacLeod’s Tables and the Trotternish Ridge. There is ample private off-road parking available to the side of the lodge.

What a breathtaking location , the photos do not do it justice , the views are beautiful. Its so quiet and easy to find , great distance from Portree. Our Host was super friendly and helpful. The lodge itself was immaculate and spacious it had absolutely everything you would wish for , the kitchen is fully equipped also. we have not got a bad word Read moreto say about it. Just back from a week in Skye! This lodge was everything youd want, loved the location! So peaceful with amazing views. Couldnt recommend this place anymore! It has everything you could ever need, will definitely be back.

Our stay in Isle of Skye was the most memorable part of our 10 day holiday. Everything was impeccable, and the host truly thought of absolutely everything. Super clean and well equipped. This lovely cottage had wonderfully comfortable beds and so many additional thoughtful touches. Our host stopped by while we were sitting outside to tell us about some things we might not have known like the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights that night. Scottish hospitality at its best!

Absolutely fantastic stay at An Gleann! The accommodation was top notch, possibly the best we've ever stayed in. The host was friendly and accomodating, and we recieved an amazing welcome pack. This really is a luxury home, which we found to be spotlessly clean, well equipped and so tastefully decorated. It is set in a peaceful area with a wonderful view. We had a lovely stay at An Gleann. The cottage is very well stocked with equipment, and the owners put in lots of extras to cater for our children like cups, plates and a high chair. As its all on one level, we didnt have to worry about stairs either. We would recommend this cottage to couples or other families.
