A charming cottage, set in the heart of picturesque Appledore, with a sunny courtyard and within strolling distance of pubs and quay.

This light and spacious cottage, which has been lovingly decorated and restored, is right in the middle of charming Appledore. In just a short walk pubs, restaurants, shops and galleries can all be reached and the slipway to the foreshore is just a few yards away from the cottage’s front door. Under a mile away is the sandy and surfing beach of Westward Ho!, where you can enjoy two miles of stunning coastline, as well as the Royal North Devon Golf Club and RHS Rosemoor Gardens all being within easy reach.

This former fisherman’s cottage offers one double bedroom with TV/DVD and iPod dock. The adjacent bathrooms has a shower over bath and WC. Cobb Cottage offers a spacious lounge with feature beams and a stone fireplace with electric fire, TV/DVD, and iPod dock. If you choose to stay in and cook, the kitchen has all the equipment you will need, with an oven and hob, microwave and fridge.

Outside is an walled enclosed south facing paved terrace courtyard with table and chairs, BBQ as well as an all season summer house with further seating, sun loungers and a WC which contains a utility area with washing machine. Nearby is some roadside parking and long stay car parks.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A beautiful homely little cottage. The outside space was wonderful. The bed and all other furniture was comfortable. Would strongly recommend this cottage and Appledore. A lovely week away.

Appledore is a lovely seaside village, parking on the harbour car park is cheap, 4 per 24 hours and 16 for 7 days. Across the estuary, 10 minutes by car the beach is lovely and the views across to Appledore are stunning. The cottage was in a great location and it was very clean. The shower was great and the cooker and job worked well. Loved the summer house/ utility room. Only problem was internet access and WiFi. However, this is the area an not a fault at the cottage itself. Lovely pub witching one minute walk with great food. This was our second visit to the cotRead moretage. Both holidays were great. Hide

Had a fab holiday. The cottage was really cosy and ideal if you have dogs. We think it could do with a bit of an upgrade but never the less still really nice.

Appledore is the most beautiful place, we will go again. Mrs Evans is lovely, very friendly and helpful. A lovely bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us when we arrived. The cottage is lovely and cosy as is the enclosed paved area to the rear of the cottage. A slight niggle was the patio furniture wasn't clean so we didn't use it and my husband spenRead moret 10 minutes weeding between the patio slabs! Great location and perfect for a couple. Bed very comfortable and had all the usual kitchen appliances. The outside space is a lovely suntrap.

The cottage is perfect for 2 people and a dog. Very handy for the shops, pubs etc and only a few steps away from the SW coastal path.
