Instow is a quick car ride, or in season there is a passenger ferry that can take you across the estuary to the sand dunes and restaurants over the water. The steep cobbled streets of Clovelly are well worth a visit and the nearby family attractions include The Big Sheep, Arlington Court, Dartington Crystal and The Milky Way.
