Very nice owners, the hot tub takes 7+ hours to warm up so we never had time to go in it. Felt quite open as it was in a working equestrian and there was quite a bit of graffiti. Land lady was lovely. It was a nice place but I wouldnt return.

A beautiful little hut in a convenient location. Clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. Enclosed area, safe and secure for the dog,she loved to play all day. Hot tub is lovely and warm but it did take 6 hours to heat up and took half the wood supplied so be prepared to heat it up nice and early. Lots of flies so dont open the window by the bed! SketRead morechy wifi and only works for short time if you hold your phone up high by the "bedroom" window. Can get cold in the early hours when the fire goes out Hide

This is the second time we have stayed in the shepherds hut, we enjoyed both times. The WiFi can be a bit sketchy, however it did not ruin our time here. Tim & penny are brilliant and on hand for any extra information needed also any of your requirements. We look forward to going again on the future.

Fantastic weekend. Comfortable, private, relaxing. Stargazing in the hot tub was incredible and the local area is stunning. Make sure to visit Carreg Cennen.

We had a wonderful extended honeymoon staying in the shepherds hut. Tim & Penny were the most accommodating and helpful hosts, particularly when it came to helping with the hot tub in the pouring Welsh rain! It really made our stay special. There is so much to see and do in the local area that we didnt get to see, so we will have to come back!

It was exactly what we were looking for and easily made me the most relaxed Ive ever been. Tim was very helpful and both Tim and Penny were talkative when we bumped into them and had a chat but they gave us the privacy needed. Only thing for me that really annoyed me was the sheer volume of flies but thats to be expected in the countryside I guess.Read more Hide

If you're after a relaxing break away this is the perfect place. The hut has amazing views of the Breacon Beacons that we enjoyed well into the summer night in the wood fired hot tub. Tim was extremely helpful and recommended some places to visit in the local area. We'll definitely be booking again.
