Visit Gateshead, home to the Sage music venue, the award winning Beamish Open-Air Museum is only three miles away. For cricket fans, Durham cricket ground is close by. Venturing further afield explore the magnificent Durham Dales, Hadrian’s Wall and the mesmeric Northumberland Coast.
