The peaceful hamlet of Abcott is well placed to all that come to stay and explore what the Southern Shropshire countryside has to offer, for enthusiastic walkers you will find simple access to the Shropshire Way, Herefordshire Way and Offa’s Dyke. Along with some of the best mountain biking trails available for keen cyclists. For foodies and historians you will not be disappointed with a wealth of towns and farmers markets to enjoy to include; Montgomery, Bishops Castle, Ludlow and Leominster well known for their all year round festivals, farmers markets and walking and food festivals. You can also enjoy the numerous nearby attractions including Powis Castle, the Severn Valley Railway and Stokesay Castle.

Take in the views across the orchard of mature fruit trees before stepping into this beautifully finished barn. A spacious lounge/kitchen/diner offers a warm welcome, with high vaulted ceilings show casing exposed beams and brick work that compliment the contemporary colours and furnishings that the owner has carefully chosen. The lounge area is the perfect place to relax, light the wood burner on a chilly evening, curl up with a book or enjoy a good film on the TV. For a simple supper there is a breakfast bar that's just perfect for two. The kitchen is open to the lounge and well-equipped, great for a simple supper with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. And when the day is done walk up five steps to where you will find a king-size bedroom with lovely views onto the gardens, there is also a shower room with shower and WC. The barn enjoys underfloor heating throughout so is warm and cosy even in the cooler months.

The French doors open onto the rear garden with table and chairs, the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea. There is allocated parking for two cars.

The barn was even better than we had hoped. It was warm, bright, airy and clean and felt wonderfully spacious. All the equipment worked perfectly and the deisgn of the kitchen and shower room were great. This is a lovely converted barn with views out over the Shropshire countryside. Warm, well equipped and very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are plenty of interesting places to visit as well as walks from the door. Very much enjoyed our stay.

This is an excellent property. We have no hesitation in recommending it to others. We noticed in the Guest Book that several people return to the property time and again. This is a pretty sure indication that we are not the only people who found it excellent.

Our stay at Bramley Barn was outstanding. Anne and Edward had thought of everything! The welcome pack was such a treat and hugely generous. The barn is in located in a beautiful and peaceful place, and there are several pretty market towns within a 30 minute drive. We loved our stay at Bramley Cottage. It has been beautifully converted and decorated and we wanted for nothing. The welcome pack was fantastic and much appreciated. I so enjoyed a cuppa in bed in the morning looking at the lovely view! We had a wonderful break which wasn't really long enough!

A lovely base for our first visit to Shropshire, the cottage was perfect for our needs. Such a beautiful and peaceful location with easy access to all the sights we wanted to visit. Highly recommended and would happily stay here again.
