The town of Holt is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed holiday in North Norfolk. An elegant Georgian town with a real community feel to it, guests staying here will have an excellent range of shops, restaurants, and coffee shops right on the doorstep, ideal for popping out for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The North Norfolk beaches await, Holkham, Sheringham and Cromer, along with the harbour town of Wells-next-the-sea, whether you fancy scenic walks, leisurely boat trips, or just a day of sunbathing and beach games. Bird watchers will enjoy the nature reserves at Blakeney and Cley.

The front door of this brick and flint cottage opens directly into the open-plan living space, with the lounge area situated to the front of the room and the kitchen area towards the rear. A wood burner-effect electric fire keeps the room lovely and snug in the cooler months, when guests may like to spend their evenings with a takeaway in front of the Smart TV or watch one of the many DVDs. Holt boasts many restaurants, but for those who prefer to cook, the kitchen offers a good range of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave and fridge. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the first of which is a cosy double room with a lovely restful feel to it. The second bedroom, meanwhile is a peaceful single room with a day bed. The bathroom offers a bath with shower over  and WC and is finished with local flint tiles, adding a touch of character to the room.

A parking space for one car can be found opposite the cottage along the narrow driveway, and there is also a small outside seating area with bistro table and chairs, giving guests a pleasant place to sit out with al fresco eating and drinks.

The cottage is a little gem set in a lovely town. Ideal for exploring the North Norfolk area; and very central to most attractions. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

The cottage is very cosy, and well maintained and we enjoyed our stay. However externally parking can be awkward and having no outside space to relax in is unfortunate.

The cottage was beautifully prepared, clean, cozy and warm and with every facility and piece of equipment we could wish for right down to the roll of dog poo bags in one of the drawers. No complaints at all. The bonus was the Christmas tree and decorations.

We fell in love with this cottage. Not only was it very well equipped, it was in a perfect location. The 2 pubs on the High Street were both dog friendly. Sunday dinner at the Feathers was amazing. Nice cottage, in good condition and location. It's worth noting the cottage has parking for one small - medium size car only, so wouldn't recommend booking it if you have a larger car (anything bigger than a VW Golf or Ford Fiesta!)
