Cloughbrook cottage is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in. It is extremely well equipped and in a good location for lovely walks with our two dogs and also close to Buxton and other towns such as leek and Bakewell. The owners were friendly and helpful. We would definitely book again if we returned to the Peak District.

We have just returned from a very relaxing week at Clough Brook cottage. The cottage had everything we needed plus lots of extras that were unexpected. This barn conversion is lovely with excellent amenities and features, set amongst beautiful scenic countryside. Owners very friendly. However, not sure it should be classed as dog friendly. Manual states dogs should be kept downstairs in kitchen only when lounge is upstairs, not ideal, plus garden is not secure so had to put lead on every time theyRead more went outside. Perfect for folks without dogs though. Hide

Superb cottage, friendly welcome and glorious countryside. The only way to enhance the total experience would be to have a (small) completely enclosed area to go with it. We would love to return some day.
