This luxurious property is located on a large family run farm, nestled in an elevated position, benefiting from magnificent sea views towards Isle of Arran, Ailsa Craig and lovely views over the Busbie Muir Reservoir, renowned for its trout fishing. The splendid Ayrshire coastline with nearby beautiful sandy beach at Seamill is a paradise for walkers, bikers and hikers with numerous coastal trails and country tracks to explore. Catch the ferry to the mystical Isle of Arran from the nearby port at Ardrossan. Enjoy scenic boat trips around Ailsa Craig, or take a day trip to Ireland, from the port of Cairnryan. Golfers are also well catered with the championship courses of Troon and Turnberry within touring distance.

Stepping inside the hall of this single storey byre, the perfect place to store all your outdoor clothing. Through to the spacious open-plan light and bright lounge/kitchen/diner. The comfortable lounge area has a Smart TV and French doors leading directly outside to the patio. The dining area has a dining table perfect for romantic or family gatherings. The kitchen is equipped and perfect for cooking up a storm with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Continuing through the hallway you are met with the delightful twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made into a super-king-size on request) with ample storage space and Smart TV. The stylish shower room with large shower and WC is located next to the twin bedroom. Finally, the beautiful master bedroom with super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a twin on request) with ample storage space, Smart TV and stylish en-suite shower and WC.

Venturing outside to the fully enclosed garden, you will find the wonderful private hot tub, located within a double glased summer house - with magnificent countryside view towards Isle of Arran, Ailsa Craig and Busbie Loch. There is also a seating area with picnic table and a charcoal BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining and lazy evening star gazing. The children of the group will love the play area within the grounds, with swings and a slide. There is ample designated off-road parking, at the rear of the property. Guests are welcome to enjoy the spectacular farmland views and meet the farms alpacas.

A warm and comfortable property with easy access to good roads and local costal routes. The Byre is in a raised setting with views towards the coast Disappointing though that due to its position and layout the views from within the property (other than the hot-tub house) are extremely limited.

We had a wonderful holiday at the farm. The 3 views are amazing. You can sit in the hot tub and look over to Arran and watch the barley being harvested. You can watch the alpacas and Pygmy goats in the field or can see the reservoir and Hamish the Highland Bull. He is so friendly. The Reid family make you feel so welcome and at home . We had a fantastic stay! Absolutely loved what they have done with the Byre. We stayed with our 11 month old daughter and it was very baby friendly! Would highly recommend as a self catering destination with a young child. Alan and Louise were very friendly and super hosts. Also the view from the hottub is absolutely stunning.

This cottage is a complete home from home, the hot tub was amazing. It was clean and tidy. The farm animals are pretty cool. In terms of location, the cottage is situated within driving distance of Largs which is probably the more commercial 'seaside' location. The Byre at Coalhill Farm has been thoughtfully finished, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Tasteful decor throughout, whilst maintaining some of the building and areas history. Wow we had a fantastic stay at Coalhill Farm. It was everything we wanted and more. Incredible view looking on to the reservoir, down to the sea, up to the windfarm and my favorite the goats, alpacas and highland cows around us. We had a great time staying in the Byre. Meeting the Alpacas is a must. The cottage was well equipped and comfy and the hot tub was nice to chill out in after a days exploring. The location is good for day trips to Arran and Cumbrae its also close to the Ayrshire Coastal Path. Some nice restaurants near , especially The catch at Finns we had some lRead moreovely seafood. Were happy with the accomodation and enjoyed it despite the bad weather. The host kept checking on us if were okay. Its very clean!!! 5-star accomodation. Androssan is not the best place but the location of the cottage is near to Glasgow and just over an hour drive to Edinburgh

The cottage was amazing with everything you could need the owners were helpful and lovely. The alpaca meet and greet was fab and an added bonus. Waking up everymorning and seeing the cows goats and alpacas was great my granddaughter who is 20 months loved it especially the farm cats and chip the dog.

Just back from a fabulous week, (4 adults). Stunning cottage everything you could think of is there. The beds are very comfy. The bathrooms are modern and the showers are great. The big comfy sofa in the lounge is a rare commodity in a holiday home. Having the hot-tub indoors was excellent. Lovely property - well kept & great location. The living area is spacious & the kitchen is good, although the lay out made it tricky for more than 1 to work in. Master bedroom is huge, but the other bedroom's size is better suited to kids or 1 adult especially when the main bathroom is small Mobile signal (EE) was non-existent after about 8pm as waRead mores the Wifi signal. A comfortable and spacious place to stay, with everything we needed provided for. This was set in a peaceful place with a pleasant view. You can even see the sea if you look in the right direction from the patio. It wasn't the cheapest place I looked at when booking but I am glad to have paid extra for some holiday luxury.

This is a lovely cottage with abseloutly lovely hosts. Very clean and stylish indoors with beautiful views outside. It was so lovely to have a hot tub in the evening looking at the sea and Arron. This is a lovely property in a stunning location. The views are to die for. The views around this cottage are absolutely stunning! The owners Lousie and Allan couldn't be anymore helpful or friendly. The cottage is super clean and modern in style.
