Traditional three-storey fishermen’s cottage sleeping two, with a pretty patio garden, located just a few minutes’ walk from Brixham town centre and bustling harbour.

This property enjoys a quiet, residential location, and yet is an easy walk from Brixham town centre, with its pubs, restaurants, and shops. Many visitors like to take the opportunity to take to the water whilst staying in the region, perhaps joining an accompanied fishing trip, relaxing on a tour of the bay, or taking the ferry across to Torquay for a day trip or night out. There are several beaches within easy reach of the town centre, as well as some beautiful coastal walks on the South West Coast Path, which stretches along the coast towards Paignton to the north and St Mary’s Bay to the east.

The ground floor of this property is home to kitchen/diner, which offers a good range of equipment, including an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, and microwave. A separate cloakroom just next to the kitchen houses the washing machine and a WC, as well as an iron and ironing board. The dining area of this space has a patio door which opens onto the garden, making it easy to take drinks to be enjoyed outside. Steep, winding stairs lead to the first floor, where the lounge is located: a fantastic light and airy room with a comfortable sofa, TV, and DVD. Accessed by another set of winding, steep stairs, the bedroom can be found on the second-floor which has a double bed, built-in wardrobe, and an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and WC.

Outside, to the rear of the cottage, is a pretty, split-level patioed garden with table and chairs and an attractive range of potted plants. The owners have thoughtfully provided a parking permit which allows guests to park in the nearby Church car park.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Beautiful little comfortable cottage in a prime location for exploring Brixham (minutes from town centre). Really handy having a free parking with the house, little garden space ideal for our doggy, and cottage more than equipped for your every need. We will be booking again!

Fabulous cottage, everything there you need . Clean and very comfortable, stairs very steep but this we knew about when we booked. Great location soon got used to church bells . Parking permit a great bonus.

This is a lovely cottage far better than most dog friendly properties , very clean, quiet and well equipped , located close to town, harbour and bus stops , parking and wi fi is a great bonus as is the lovely patio garden . A convenient position for Brixham,ideal for a couple. Glad we were told about the stairs, they would be a problem to the elderly. Only problem loading and unloading, a car was illegally parked there, so had to carry luggage further, as difficult to stop anywhere and not block the road. Cottage in good location. Stairs very steep but did state this in description but not for the elderley. Everything you need is there only one thing when using the cooker only one half of the grill worked.

We really enjoyed our stay here this week and the cottage was just right for us. It was very comfortable and well equipped and it was lovely waking up to the beautiful views. It was only a short walk down to the shops and harbour and the nearby parking space was very handy too. The stairs are steep but we were prepared for that as we've stayed in sRead moreimilar types of cottage before. We enjoyed swimming in the Shoalstone Pool and also visited Paignton and did a trip by steam train and boat to Dartmouth. We hope to come back to the cottage again in the future. Hide

Lovely little place, not for the infirm, two floors, reached by steep, narrow winding staircases as expected from a cottage in a fishing town, beautiful sunny, sunken private courtyard to sit out in, although in need of a little trimming and horticultural tenderness, `had to water plants` but my own decision ( wannabe gardener), Cottage overlooks hRead moreouses and a small Royal mail depot, from which we found minimum noise in early morning, ie trolleys being manoeuvred, Cottage is far enough out to escape the traffic and hustle and bustle of the town, but within an steady stroll to town and harbour, may I suggest a bedside table would be useful, we would recommend this cottage to certain friends and family to which it suits, Hide
