This delightful hideaway has been lovingly renovated and nestles in a beautiful countryside location where far reaching views can be enjoyed from your own private wood fired hot tub.

From this charming detached property you will be within easy reach of Exmoor National Park, perfect for those wishing to walk or cycle this awe-inspiring landscape. There are an array of pretty market towns and villages to explore in the area including Dulverton, South Molton, Withypool and Exford. Head to the coast to discover the string of sandy beaches on Devon’s north coast, including Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho!, together with a collection of traditional fishing villages and towns such as Lynton, Lynmouth, Clovelly and Porlock.

This delightful property boasts unrivalled countryside views and is quietly situated at the end of a long private unmade lane on a 50 acre alpaca farm. Upon entering the beautiful accommodation, you are greeted with a light and airy open-plan lounge/diner with apex ceilings and exposed beams. In the summer you can open the front door to let the outside in, or in the cooler months snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of the gas effect wood burner while watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, perfect for trying out new recipes or old family favourites. The bathroom has been thoughtfully upgraded with a shower over bath, his and her sinks and a WC. Head upstairs to the galleried double set under the eaves with a low sloping ceiling, which is all part of the charm and character of this property. Sleep tight with your faces glowing from a day exploring the wonderful countryside and enjoy the unparalleled Devon night skies from the comfort of your bed.

Outside there is a large enclosed private garden with far reaching countryside views, great for both you and your four-legged friends to relax in. There is also a secluded patio area with far reaching countryside views where guests will find a table and chairs and a wood fired hot tub, which is particularly inviting at night, when guests can enjoy the warm water under the star-filled skies. There is also a fire pit where you can enjoy toasting marshmallows while watching the sunset. There is ample off-road parking available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful cottage with outstanding views! Very dog friendly, perfect location for those who enjoy dog walks! Very clean, well equipped and the owners are very welcoming and friendly! The hot tub is lovely too!

Drovers cottage is set in the beautiful North Devon countryside with spectacular views, brilliant facilities and amenities as well as extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Cottage was perfect for us and our 2 cockapoo puppies with ample space for them to run and explore. We were also advised on some excellent dog walks which we thoroughly enjoyed. 21.12.19 - 26.12.19 Our first Christmas away was spent at Drover's Cottage and we can definitely say it did not disappoint. The cottage is a home from home with a touch of five star luxury, a fully equiped kitchen bed fit for a king. We had a brilliant six night stay at the wonderful dog-friendly Drovers Cottage. It has everything you might need for a restful break .The views are gorgeous and it is within easy driving distance of many of North Devons lovely beaches and picturesque villages. Drovers cottage is exactly what we were looking for, peaceful, beautiful views and private. Lovely well equipped cottage looking out over open fields. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The cottage was warm and comfortable. We made use of the hot tub. Looking up at the stars was an experience we dont normally enjoy. Very dog friendly too. Having alpacas for neighbours was a novelty. Overall a great place to stay.
