We had a lovely stay, the cottage was well equipped with all the basics that you would need and the added bonus of having a washing machine and tumble dryer was brilliant after long autumn walks and Peak District weather. The cottage is in a good location in Whaley Bridge with easy walking access to the town via the park. It is in a very quiet road. The stairs are quite steep which could be a problem for those less mobile or with a young family as the loo is upstairs. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms comfortable. Lots of space for clothes.

Cottage was very nice and comfortable- nice and warm. Lovely area. The second bedroom did not have a mirror which was a nuisance. The garden was pretty but definitely needed a little a little attention, particularly the front path - a little overgrown and awkward to get suitcase through without getting caught on plants. I would return again. Very nRead moreice area. Hide

A pretty cottage in a lovely location for the Peak District and the train to Manchester, something for everyone in our family of four. Whaley Bridge is a good base, and the town itself has a lot to offer. Being so close to the lovely park was a bonus for our youngest who loved the zipwire! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Beautiful house, very nicely decorated, great shower in the bathroom. The little garden at the back was really pleasant to sit in. It is situated right at the entrance to a fantastic park with a great playground if you have children to entertain. We really enjoyed our stay here.
